Brian McElney was born in Hong Kong in the early 1930s, and for a couple of decades was one of the territory's top lawyers. But in his spare time, he also put together one of the greatest collections of Chinese antiques in the world, many of them spotted by him amongst the knick-knacks on Hollywood Road and Cat Street. Brian is publishing his memoirs in April 2017, and will tell tales of the 1960s and 1970s in both collecting and lawyering, and share his stories of some of the pieces that changed his life.
