Some say it’s the only place that makes Hong Kong different from any Chinese city. A symbol for globalization, ‘home’ to many Africans and South Asians, a place some mothers warn their kids about. Chungking Mansions means a lot of things to different people. This 90-minute tour will focus on demonstrating and understanding the rich complexities of social, political, economic, environmental, and cultural life of Africans living in Hong Kong, as well as the vibrant culture of the ethnic minorities of Hong Kong.
