The journey includes guided visits of various attractions in the Lower Area of KFBG and an experiential activity that connects the mind and body.
Participants can learn about local biodiversity and its challenges, conservation of flora and fauna, organic farming, and sustainable living. KFBG encourages a life-long passion for nature, conservation and ecology by nurturing an appreciation of the natural world.
The eco-tour will introduce:
1. Native wildlife in Hong Kong and South China, and their threats;
2. KFBG’s conservation work;
3. Relationship between organic farming, sustainable lifestyle, and nature conservation

Guide: English-speaking guide of the eco-tour of Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden
Transport:
Pick up time and place: 12:45 pm at Central Pier 9
Leaving time and place: 5:00 pm at Kadoorie Farm
Shuttle bus payment (includes both ways) : HK$100 per head. Payment will be collected on the event day.
Admission: Free admission and you are encouraged to give a donation to support the farm's work in promoting sustainable living, offering holistic education, and helping to conserve wildlife in Hong Kong and other regions.
No walk-in guests allowed. Pre-registration required due to limited places.
Registration: Please email <membership@royalasiaticsociety.org.hk> and provide your membership number, if applicable, and state whether you would like to take the shuttle bus or not when registering. Registration will be closed at 5 pm on 9 October 2023 (Monday).
To stay comfortable and minimize the possibility of insect bites, participants are highly recommended to wear appropriate clothing and footwear: light-coloured long-sleeved tops, trousers, and sports shoes; bring drinking water.
